This course is designed for individuals who handle chemicals in the workplace to ensure that they perform their duties safely (e.g. pesticide handlers, laboratory personnel, spray painters, etc).
Participants will understand the physical and health hazards of chemicals used in the workplace, the importance of the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) and identify methods of protection using safe work practices, emergency procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE).
